Container gardening is a great way to grow plants, vegetables and herbs without needing a lot of space. Herbs do especially well and can be grown right outside your kitchen door. First Lady Michelle Obama in the Garden on Health and Nutrition
First Lady Michelle Obama hosts an event focused on health and nutrition, including the harvesting of vegetables from the White House Kitchen Garden on the South Lawn of the White House. She is joined by students from Bancroft Elementary who will also ist in the preparation of a meal. Bancroft Elementary students have also been involved in the gardens groundbreaking and planting events. (public domain)
